The Tom Petty Project - 24 May 2023: starts with Kev talking about the 100th episode, and thanks people for listening. Then he looks at feedback from listeners of the show. After this he goes into the penultimate song from the album Let Me Up (I’ve Had Enough), the stream of conscious written How Many More Days. I know the answer to this episode’s trivia question, because I believe it is on the song She’s My Baby. That’s not giving the answer away, just where the person in question features. A potential playing mistake by guitarist Mike Campbell?

Daily Shower Thoughts - 22 April 2024

Comicbook Nation - season 6 episode 33: 16 August 2024: Kofi Outlaw, Matt Aguilar, and Janell Wheeler are joined by guest co-host Liam Crowley. Before they start to go into the show properly, Kofi addresses the elephant in the room, bye, letting everyone know about the changes with comic book as a company, since they have been sold by the previous parent company Paramount to another company called Savage, and how the wonderful Brandon Davis has left the company, possibly not by his own choosing, which is a big loss since he’s been there since day one. “ Let’s talk about lubed up, aliens!” Reactions to the new film Alien Romulus. This leads them into the next subject, which is them doing a deep dive into the alien franchise as a whole. I have always said that my favourite alien film is the original one from 1979, that was directed by Ridley Scott. When Janell mentions her reaction to the film Alien from 1979, it makes me think that she needs to watch the 1982 film The Thing, starring Kurt Russell, and directed by John Carpenter. Rick and Morty The Anime. Beanie/Toboggan. D23 look back. New trailer for Agatha All Along. The Incredibles 3. Toy Story 5. I have to say this - the sequels are all about the money, and we’re getting to a place where film and television studios are scared of working on too much original content. It’s less about creativity and more about finance. “Some people might have seen a trailer for Daredevil Born Again…” trailer for Star Wars Skeleton Crew. Janell ups her coolness factor by mentioning the Michael Jackson starring short film, Captain EO, which I don’t think anyone has ever seen, unless they’ve been to Disneyland or wherever it is? Do I want to see it? Yeah, why not? Avatar 3 to be called fire and ash. Andor season two. Mandalorian and Grogu film. Second season of Percy Jackson. Ironheart. Tron 3. Forthcoming Star Wars game from Ubisoft. Another forthcoming game is Dragon Age Velgard.
