Tuesday June the 29th, 2021 - The Blurb - So I got to bed after nine, and woke up at midday. I went to another charity shop to leave donations, took the laundry to be done, and dropped some old books into a recycling station, because they were a bit worse for wear. I rang the garage in the afternoon,    because there’s no use leaving my car there if the part hasn’t arrived, which it hasn’t. I drove to a recycling station, only to find that it was for collection by an Oxfam shop less than five minutes from us! Among the many jobs that I did in the flat, I put up the new guitar display stand, and put the stringed instruments that are staying in the flat/apartment on there. I’m planning on carrying on with creating a recording space in the storage unit, which I think is a great idea.  It’s not a replacement for actually going into The Old Library Recording Studios in Mansfield, which I plan on doing again hopefully soon, and I still hope to record at Unit 5 in Mansfield as well at some

Monday June the 28th, 2021 - The Blurb - After getting to bed at around 6:30am from the Sunday night shift, I woke at about 3:30pm, which is the best sleep that I’ve had in so long. We finished watching the latest episode of Gogglebox before I got some bits from Morrison’s. I can’t remember what else I did before starting work at 7pm. Steady shift at work.  I left the office for home at 8, only to find no parking available. I went to the shop again to get some bits so that I could get some change, whereupon I stupidly used my debit card, and then had to go to a kiosk to get a lottery ticket, so that I could get some change. I parked up, went home, went to bed at about quarter past nine. The ‘casts - Lost & Found & Rewound - (0:39) episode 1.9.5 >> : Chris, Jim & Rick. “The sun will come back, Rick!” Baby trees for podcast note paper. Prism glass in psycho. John Wayne Gacy documentary. Thatcher & Reagan in The Crown. Jailhouse interview with Gacy - Manhunter. L

Sunday June the 27th, 2021 - The Blurb - I woke up at half past midday, around about four hours since I got to sleep.  I got some bits done online for what will be updates to my website - https://www.themarvzone.org  They will be viewable when they’re all done, and it’s embarrassing to me that the site is as badly out of date. It’s me doing all of these things - the show, editing, social media, blog and website.  I also moved a car full of bits to the storage unit between going to Morrison’s and getting ready for work. Work started at 5pm, and I got on with it. No actual incidents in the night helped in a way, but the lack of sleep lately caught up with me. It suddenly hit me as I was coming onto the A1 from Sutton-on-Trent, and actually just left the brake on on the flow road, because my eyes closed and I couldn’t keep them open.  I think I only had about two or three minutes, but it helped. I carried on, and did well to get everything done, including a good few patrols on an extra

Saturday June the 26th, 2021 - The Blurb I think that    I got back from work at about 6am after the Friday night shift. Trouble dropping off again, falling asleep after nine in the afternoon, and waking up at about two. I got to work at about 4:40pm for a five start, and was out of the office for just after five, after Ken had brought the mobile van for this shift back so that I could get on. Steady shift that I just got on with.    245 miles driven in the shift. Got home after work for about half past five in the morning. I may have got to bed for just after six, but it took until after eight to drop off. The ‘casts - Something For Nothing -  (0:45) :  Steve & Gerry look at side one of the self titled debut album by Rush.  Robby The Robot’s Waiting -  (1:29) :  First episode of season two.   Friday June the 25th, 2021 - The Blurb Woke up at about a quarter to two in the afternoon after getting to sleep after 9am. Mad dash around the supermarket for some bits before leaving for work for a five start. A couple of times in the shift I and Andy had to take turns at parking up and being static in the van for a little while at a site somewhere that was just for the night as a one off. The ‘casts - Binge Bros -  (0:52)  June 25 2021 :  Natty & Joey. What’s going on, Sexy Beasts series on Netflix, Loki episode three responses. Joey responds to seeing Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire.  Court Case -   (0:47) #30 June 18 2021 :  James & Sweet Tee continue their road trip, with this episode at the Brighton Pavillion. Someone asking friends to pay to go to a birthday party. Weird names. I agree with James & T that there shouldn’t be a difference in pay according to age, because everyone still has to pay out the same money for the cost of living. Masturbation is lazin

Thursday June the 24th 2021 - The Blurb After eventually getting to sleep after 8am, I was woken at 2pm, and did a bit of sorting. It’s like it never ends! We have a lot don’t we. Work from 7pm until 8am, so in bed for about half past eight in the morning.  Relatively easy going shift, with a bit of phone chit chat with Andy on another mobile job. The ‘casts - Something For Nothing  -  episode 95 Power Windows Redux Part 3 June 21 2021 : Steve & Jerry looking at the songs Territories and Middletown Dreams from Power Windows. They are joined by author Skip Daily to chat about Territories.    Documentary Rush: Time Stand Still video director Miller looks at Middletown Dreams with them.  Keeping Up With The Cardassians  -  s2 e18 Feb 15th 2021 : Nick, Rob & Joe are looking at The Marquis Pts 1&2 episodes 20 and 21 of season 2.   Tuesday-Wednesday June the 22nd to 23rd, 2021 - The blurb - TUESDAY:  It was gone 10am before I got to sleep on Tuesday morning.    More stress added with the car trouble (insert link to the Adam & The Ants song). I slept through the 1pm alarm to 3pm. Call from garage at 5:30pm - it wasn’t a case of replacing a fuse as I had thought.    A replacement control system box is required! Initial thoughts before looking into it were based on other controllers that are around £350 before any work is done! We’ll find out tomorrow…. I had accidentally retained the company phone, so I walked to the office so that Matt would have a phone for the shift. It was a lovely evening, so after leaving home at around 6:35pm I had a lovely walk around, and finished it off with a nip to Morrison’s for a few bits, getting in at five to nine. We had got some bits ready to go to the storage unit, but no car to take them in… WEDNESDAY: I didn’t get much sleep. I think it was relatively late getting to bed,

WARNING - THIS POST CONTAINS EXPLETIVES!   Monday June the 21st, 2021 - The blurb - After getting to bed at around about 6:30am, and dropping off at about seven, I think that I got up at about three o’clock. I sorted a box out of my stuff to take to the storage unit, and am still wondering if more of my stuff needs taking, because I feel bad about some of Louise’s jewellery and clothes potentially going there, because they’re important lady things. I just know that if I took the rest of my musical instruments there that I would hate the flat/apartment even more than I already do! Louise sorted a box out as well, and I placed both boxes downstairs ready for picking up later during work time. I got to the office for work at around 6:20pm for a 7pm start, and got going probably around ten or so minutes from then to  get on with it ! I didn’t start listening to any pods until around 8pm, and even though supergrass Ken at work on mobile 2 said on the phone “I hope you’re not listening to
