Eastwood Reloaded - season 1 episode 4: 8 June 2025: *The Outlaw Josey Wales - A farmer loses everything. Becomes a killer. / Learns to build a family from the wreckage of war. The Outlaw Josey Wales wasn't just another Western-it was Clint Eastwood's most complete statement about violence, healing, and what it means to survive trauma. / Set in post-Civil War Missouri, the film follows Josey Wales from peaceful farmer to Confederate guerrilla to wanted outlaw, but its real subject is how damaged people can find their way back to humanity. As Wales accumulates companions—a Cherokee elder, displaced settlers, fellow refugees —the film becomes a meditation on chosen family and the long process of healing from historical trauma. / We examine how Eastwood synthesized everything he'd learned as actor and director to create his most psychologically complex Western, one that understood violence as corrupting rather than cleansing, that showed how communities form from shared survival, and that proved the Western genre could be both mythic and deeply human. / This is where all of Eastwood's personas—the Man with No Name, Harry Callahan, the emerging filmmaker—came together in service of something larger than entertainment.

Our team of multiversal mathematicians will debate whether this impish entity is a manifestation of higher-dimensional physics, the universe's most powerful prankster, or just really committed to making Superman's life surreally complicated. / From Silver Age comics to modern appearances, we'll explore why this vowel-challenged troublemaker continues to warp our dimensional understanding. Remember,  in Mxyzptlk's reality, everyone can hear you scream... but you might be turned into a two-dimensional cartoon character halfway through.

The Harrowing of Minerva Damson - 2 April 2024: *Episode 1 Bonus: Podbrezová 1916 - The first episode of our Maiden-tier Patreon exclusive series, The Delilah Documents follows Sister-Scribe Marion Dixon as she stumbles upon a misfiled box and uncovers the secrets of a mysterious group of women all named Delilah. Episodes more than a year old will now be released to general audiences, with five currently eligible for airing. These will be released every other week, after which point new episodes will be released to general audiences upon their first year anniversary on Patreon. / It's April 1933, and Sister-Scribe Marion Dixon has been tasked with cataloging and making recorded duplicates of a truckload of dusty old wartime documents sent from Boston's Order Headquarters. It's been slow-going and agonizingly dull, but the document she just pulled out of her newest box tells a tale unlike any of the others before it, one involving intrigue, magic, blood, and ironworks. Even more curious, the subject of the debriefing isn't an Order knight, but a woman simply known as "Delilah S." Thus begins Marion's journey into the dark, hidden heart of The Great War, where battles lost to the history books were fought to contain worse fates from sweeping across the face of the Earth.

They found truffle DNA in the birds' droppings, suggesting that truffles are a staple of the birds' diet. Some of the fungi species eaten by the Patagonian birds look like berries that grow locally, which might help birds see them better. / More info and transcript at BirdNote.org
