Desert Skies - 14 January 2026: Chapter 28 Those Are Some Of My Favorite Parts - Having left the Inter State behind, the crew heads towards the Long Paws to reunite with Corson. C.A.S.H. has something she wants to show Mac on the Forest Sphere, something she hopes will undo some of the damage done by Bad Mother. Along the way she'll share a story about a strange creature, one whose existence on the Astral Plane up to this point has only fueled tales and rumors, one who may serve as the answer to what they're looking for.

Seaside Pod Review - episode 73: 28 March 2024: Kev and Randy presenting as ever. Randy is back after a serious bout of what his wife described as “a man cold”. Discussion about money. Sports discussion includes Kev badmouthing the only sport I watch. After the catch up chat, they look at feedback from listeners about the previous episodes random song, I can hear music. Great conversation about cover versions. When they’re supposed to be choosing the song they suddenly start talking food. They are waffle masters! After this they choose the random song for this episode, which is the song She Makes Me (Stormtrooper In Stilettos), written by Brian May, and taken from  the album Sheer Heart Attack. The song doesn’t feature Freddie at all, as it’s Brian on all of the vocals, and any piano is by Brian as well. My take on this song - I like it,  a lot, but they missed the chance of adding some more psychedelic bits in there. They could have had  little bits of backwards guitar, and other out there stuff moving across the stereo field, etc. After the discussion about th song they mention issues where band members have forgotten equipment that’s necessary like a bass guitarist turning up without their instrument. I had that with a band when the drummer turned up without any cymbals. I’ll leave that there because the rest of that story is not safe to say in front of impressionable people. “Darth Vader in flats?”

BirdNote Daily - 20 August 2023: *Pigeons and Head-bobbing - Pigeons seem to bob their heads as they move, like they're grooving to an internal tune. But what look like head bobs are actually momentary pauses of the head while they walk. Their eyes are fixed in their sockets, so that pausing enables the pigeon to take a brief, steady view of its surroundings. Without those pauses, they'd just see a Blair Witch, shaky-cam mess!
