The ‘casts -

The Ray Harryhausen Podcast - (1:19) EP36: Ooh, new opening music. That’s wonderfully epic! They’re doing it as their third videocast, calling it a vodcast. Is that right? John Walsh & Connor Heaney are counting down people’s top ten lost films that were conceived, as featured in John’s book, as well as their favourite scenes that never made released films. Vanessa Harryhausen picked her three favourites. Richard Hollis then picks his three scenes. Production executive Ron Fogelman gives his three favourite projects that never made it. Animator for Cosgrove Hall Jonathan Webb chooses his three favourite lost projects. Mark Marston picks his favourite lost projects. Collector and researcher Greg Colon chooses his favourites. Is John Walsh a Bucks Fizz fan. Mark Wolfe picks his favourite three. He’s also a Rocky fan. Theatrical poster artist Graham Humphries chooses his three. Mike Hankin picks his choices of three unused sequences next. Marshall Julius is the final guest to choose favourite lost projects and unreleased sequences. After all of this and the top ten picks by listeners, they go into winners of a competition. Lovely end music.

Leave Your Powers At The Door - (0:41) May 24 2021 Dio Brando & The X-Gene: presented by LaRoscoe & Chris. Starts immediately with them talking about Jupiter Ascending pre-introduction and show music. What are Chris’s powers for today? New Venom trailer. Favourite Spider-Man villain. These guys are going through hero discussions quicker than my tired and at work head can keep up with. Bleach in winter 2021, Shaman King in spring 2021 and Hunter in winter 2021. Anime. Favourite sidekicks and side characters. #CPSonOmniman QuickDraw - Gara vs Toth Bagon. Don’t listen to this show on 1 and half speed! Quickdraw- Anime v DC v Marvel. Cool sounds throughout. Recommendations and outro.

Something For Nothing - (0:49) E11: Steve & Jerry chatting with Skip Daly & Eric Hansen, authors of "Rush: Wandering the Face of the Earth: The Official Touring History". Jon Bon Jovi and Les Claypool’s first gigs were Rush gigs! The rotisserie story. Nicolas Cage is a huge Rush fan and wore disguises every time I’ve seen them, which is hundreds if not over a thousand times! Lindy Young. Mitch Fossey.

WWOAB - (0:34) E6 Starter Husbands and F*** Boys: “I’m not a negative Nancy, I’m a realist!” Kids back to school work with distance learning from home.  Chris thought that a virtual classroom had his daughter as the only girl in the class, when suddenly a few more girls turned up. #KnowledgeIsPower Their six year old asked them what a chupacabra is.   Chris bought Geraldine a new mic, which she thinks is to cover for him having an affair.

Spyhards - (1:26) E14 True Lies: oh yeah, Scott & Cam are looking at True Lies. One of the great Arnold Schwarzenegger films! Oh, a sexualised R rated Spider-Man movie with Leonardo DiCaprio that never happened... Thank god! Disputes between James Cameron & the studio over Jim casting Tom Arnold, who I think is genius casting. Cam also does a podcast called Arniegeddon! A dark history shown by the Captain Marvel link. I’m so sorry about he Eliza Dushku incident with this film. Poor Eliza :-( I have a problem with the cracking binocular lens as well! The ad towards the end for manscaping - how many takes, guys?

Binge Bros - (0:36) May 25 2021: Natty & Joey. News - 1. Amazon buying MGM. 2. Eternals trailer reaction. Note to Natty - Millie Bobby Brown was originally going to be in it, but couldn’t, so that role got recast. 3. Uncharted news. 4. The film Gavin Hansen (is that the title?) 5. JJ Abrams & Matt Reeves are directing an animated Batman series. After the news they take a look at Ready Player One as a look back. Thanks to listeners and housekeeping. Outro.

The Rock Guys - (0:18) E18 Exodus: a thrash metal band formed in 1979. I’m learning here, because I don’t know them! That family history is incredible, seeing links to Metallica and Slayer among many others!

Bob Dylan Album By Album - (0:09) BONUS: 80th birthday tributes from Clint Wells (musician/podcaster), Scarlet Rivera (musician/Dylan collaborator), Keith Miles (author), Sally Louise (musician), Frank Skinner (comedian), Daniel McHall, Timothy Goodman (artist), Joe Carey (social media reviewer & comedian), Graham Simpsien (novelist), and Chris Francis Garney (journalist).

From A To Ziggy - (0:18) African Night Flight: from the album “lodger”. The guys mention William Rice Burroughs, Brian Eno, Adrian Belew, rap, Based on the song Susie Q by Creedence Clearwater revival, but with the chords played backwards.

The Night’s End - (0:23) S2 E1: The Timeless Dance written by C J Carter-Stephenson. Narrated by Jimmy. What Philip thinks is a potential good mask for a costume competition at a house party isn’t what he expects. “Homecoming” cookie. Limousine. Spacesuit.
