The Blurb -
After getting to bed at around 6:30am from the Sunday night shift, I woke at about 3:30pm, which is the best sleep that I’ve had in so long.
We finished watching the latest episode of Gogglebox before I got some bits from Morrison’s.
I can’t remember what else I did before starting work at 7pm.
Steady shift at work.
I left the office for home at 8, only to find no parking available.
I went to the shop again to get some bits so that I could get some change, whereupon I stupidly used my debit card, and then had to go to a kiosk to get a lottery ticket, so that I could get some change.
I parked up, went home, went to bed at about quarter past nine.
The ‘casts -
Lost & Found & Rewound - (0:39) episode 1.9.5 >> : Chris, Jim & Rick. “The sun will come back, Rick!” Baby trees for podcast note paper. Prism glass in psycho. John Wayne Gacy documentary. Thatcher & Reagan in The Crown. Jailhouse interview with Gacy - Manhunter. Lovers tiff response from police about a Dahmer victim. Johnny Thunders. “We’re all going to the same place.” Alexei Sayle’s lockdown bike rides. Mention of the last film topic - They Might Be Giants. Chris mentioned manholecoversdirect.com . After that Chris announces the 1980 John Cassavettes film Gloria as their next review.
The Gerry Anderson Podcast - (1:19) episode 159: intro, contents, fab fact (a sad financial true story), listener feedback, news, interview with Samira Ahmed, and the randomiser (an episode of The Protectors called With A little Help From My Friends). Post show banter as well! It’s a packed show for sure.
Our Cynic Culture - (0:21) episode 13: the guys are looking at a Belgian beer called Bokke (formerly Bokkerrider). A blended not brewed beer! I should take notes from these guys, because their information on beer and food is great.
Spocklight - (1:34) episode 10: Liam, Matt & Paul are joined by filmmaker Greg Lock to discuss the film Star Trek: Nemesis. Mass Effect car chase. B-4. Stuart Baird. Jon Logan. Was supposed to be a follow-up.

Notts Rock Cast - (0:27) ep123: main presenter is Jethro. News presented by Joshua, great shouts to the people who provide the background music. Jim reviews new album by Martin Jackson’s Confide, and plays the song UNICEF Kingdom from it. Martin Jackson reviews a song from Negatory Effect entitled Pre-Misconception written by Jethro with guest vocal by Jim Plumb.
We Were On a Break - (0:37) ep 9 Sep 9 2020: a continuation apparently from episode 7. Starts with a thank you to someone for contacting them with advice. Tough subject this episode is about understanding what’s good for women in a sexual relationship. This episode is a lot quieter volume wise than all the other episodes, because I’ve got it at full volume in the vehicle.
When They Was Fab - (0:57) June 28 2021: first up is Ed & Jon mentioning the news of the six hour Get Back film on Disney+ coming out, and people’s outcry about there being no cinema release. This segues into discussion about live Hamburg footage being cleaned up, owned by Lord Reith. Apparently, back in those days in Hamburg when the Beatles were playing for eight hours solid, that was for the most part eight hours where they never repeated themselves, so every song was different for the whole eight hours! The first time that John, Paul, George and Ringo recorded together was with a lead singer named Lou Walters singing Summertime. Ted Taylor.
The Rock Guys - (0:19) Voivod: Bobby gives you everything that you need to know about these seriously rocking Canadian band, who started as a thrash metal band, before getting their serious Prog metal on. Everybody has a nickname. If you like seriously hard and heavy rock music, then you should listen to this show! I love Bobby’s excitement.
