The Blurb -

Woke up at 3pm, when I got up and made both myself and Louise a drink, as well as getting myself some breakfast.

I always ask Louise if she wants something to eat, to which a lot of the time she says she doesn’t want anything. I would of course get her something if she asked.

Got some podcasts listened to, and they were all fun.

I smiled when I heard the first on air kiss between Geraldine and Chris on We Were On a Break.

Home for 6:30am from a 5:30pm start at work.

The ‘casts -

(Notes taken by Siri - other AI’s are available).

Phase Zero - (1:05) episode 33 August 25th 2021: Jenna with Jamie & Jim, and Brandon coming back and forth with being at Cinemacon. Matrix 4 trailer, The Batman trailer, Dune preview. Aaron appears at 3:20. Second trailer for Eternals. Venom 2 update. Armour Wars updates. Captain America 4 update. “Cut the check!” Iron heart to appear in Black Panther 2 Wakanda Forever. The Fantastic Four bit - I saw this on a video where Brandon was speaking with Kevin Feige, and it was great how Kevin said “they cast whoever is right, whether they’re known or unknown quantities. Loki season two. Avengers 5. What If episode three reactions, which contain spoilers. Great job being the lead presenter Jenna.

Sail On  - (0:51) episode 2: this time Wyatt & Jason are talking about the first recordings of The Beach Boys, when they were known as The Pendletones. News about a Mike Love solo album. Brian Wilson Symphonic tour. On to the subject. They’re looking at 1961 to March 1962. Surfin’. Lou Al. Lavender. Surfin’ Safari. I’ve noticed that Mike Love uses geography a lot on songs that he’s written the lyrics for. Surfer Girl was brought then, but not recorded for an album for around 18 months. Judy Judy. Beach Boys Stomp. David Marks. The Islanders. El Camino. Carl, Brian, Dennis & Al with the Wilson’s mother Audrey added vocals to a song called Barbie, written by friends under a pseudonym of Kenny & The Cadets as a favour. Sugar & Spice. Randy Records. Book - The Beach Boys Inception and Conception by Steven J McParland. Show music by Will C.

9-42 (0:18) episode 1: a show from A Short Stories podcasts, that I’ve been meaning to check out for almost a year now! So many pods, and so little time. Ant Short and Jason Hunt. An introduction to what the show is about. Interesting behind the scenes bit that reminds me of a fear of mine about podcasting. Show title history. Contact through @theguitarshow on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.

Not To Be Technical- (1:27) episode 2: Nafis & Charlie from episode one are now joined by third host Gary. TV show called Power. Apple Magic keyboard to attach to to the iPad. Coin base pro. Selective notifications. Side bars. Widgets. Siri - I wouldn’t be able to do this notation without using Siri, because a lot of this is written while I am driving. The only thing is when you walking around talking into my phone whilst I’m locking a property up, and someone walks out of a room hearing me talking into the phone, like just now! I’m so fucking sad. I have no life. Soundless leaf blowing. Voice isolation mode. At 1:14:40 singing. BlastFM still exists. Apple wallet.

ComicBook Nation - (1:16) August 27 2021: “wassup!!!!!” Kofi, Matt & Janell. Spider-Man No Way Home trailer. “THE WITCHAAH!!!” Good point made about the forthcoming Spider-Man film where all of the MCU related films have had other heroes. I think it would be great to have seen a good old fashioned friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man film, although more fitting would have been a Spider-Man series with 50 minute episodes that are semi-anthology with a background arc. That will never happen while Sony hold the rights. Werewolf By Night coming to Disney+. Reactions to The Witcher. Nightmare Of The Wolf is a prequel to The Witcher. From the world of “THE WITCHAAH” to DC’s Titans. What If episode three reactions. Kofi has been watching a Bob Ross documentary. Janell lived next door to him! Comics - Supeman vs Lobo (fan voted), Superman ‘78, and Dark Hawk. Wrestling.

Our Cynic Culture - (0:21) episode 16: Matt, Jason & Jeff. Barley wine. “Barley wine is life” Revolution Brewing in Chicago. VSOJ is a version of a Straitjacket Barley Wine aged for 2 years in cognac barrels. This one though is a bourbon barrel. Matt’s rapping. “We don’t need another hero!” Too much information about Jeff’s ball moistness! Mention of Boss Hogg whiskey. “Here comes winter!”

Wicked Spiritual - (0:33) episode 55 August 18th 2021: Kim, Sylvia & Kathleen. This episode is the beginning of a series of episodes where they’re speaking about the astrological sun signs. First up are Aries and Taurus. “The sun, the moon, and the ascendant.” Aries March 21 - April 19. Taurus April 20 - May 21. “How cuspy are you?”

Court Case - (0:53) episode 35 Krazy Karens August 6th 2021: good harmonic intro guys. Changing to three episodes and one blogpost per month. 2020 was actually called “the year of the Karen”! Old ladies at a restaurant. The taxi incident - “listening to Kids bop!” “Calm down!” Central Park Karen. The Victoria’s Secret incident - I heard this on another podcast as well. Second half of the show is Courting With James. A guy’s fiancé wants him to get his sister to wear a wig and make-up to hide her alopecia. A guy thinks his wife is getting attracted to the CEO of her firm. “Rich Reddit”

Sauce Spoken - (1:02) episode 46 August 26th 2021: this time Adam, Tori & Eric are looking at “Mr Spice” No Salt Tangy Bang Sauce. Mention of the film “The Highwaymen”. Red Dead Redemption. Special guest is another Adam. That will makes things easy! Description of the weather. They’re calling the guest AK, who loves Heinz Ketchup. His second go to is McDonald’s Barbecue Sauce. Bottle description. “The baking soda king of Pittsburgh!” Recorded August 12th. Description of how the sauce looks. Tasting notes (taste, scent, and texture). Ingredients. “Xanthum Gum!” Julienne date. How spicy? Ratings. Eric’s ratings algorithm works on Microsoft Windows 3.1 and a 5” floppy disc. “Hello my baby, hello my darling, hello my ragtime gal…”

We Were On a Break - (0:38) episode 22: 16th December 2021: Geraldine has watched the film The Prom on Netflix. Meryl Streep stars in it. Like me, Chris doesn’t like James Corden. Update on co-parenting situation. Some nasty things said when Geraldine was hormonal. Geraldine is better with money, but also earns more. As I said earlier, that first on air kiss between these two made me smile.
