The Blurb -
I woke up around midday, after getting to sleep at about 10am or so.
We’ll see how long I last.
Shopping at the supermarket and clothes taken to the laundrette. Times and dates posted for anyone interested in taking part in season four of Pods Like Us.
By seven I couldn’t stay awake, so went for an hour’s nap, that turned into two hours, waking at 9pm.
Lovely burgers for dinner, because Morrison’s didn’t have the ingredients for a homemade salmon en crute.
Louise read an article on the Independent newspaper’s website that was saying that watching television for four hours can be mentally damaging to people above the age of 30.
Bloody scaremongering is what I say, but obviously Louise has believed it, so our viewing time is now limited.
I’ve watched the trailer for the forthcoming Marvel tv series Hawkeye, which looks cool, especially adding the whole Christmas thing to the story - “I’ll be home for Christmas!”
Grace & Frankie (NETFLIX) - season 3 episode 4: the beach house gets robbed and they look into ways to protect themselves, while Robert’s continuing theatrical exploits leave Sol feeling like he’s a second wheel.
Only Murders In The Building (DISNEY+) - episode 4: The Sting. After Oliver’s dog Winnie the dog is poisoned, suspicion falls on a famous singer/songwriter. To prepare for this, Oliver, Charles & Mabel go to an experienced podcaster (played by a brilliantly casted Tina Fey) for advice. #EmbraceTheMess #SexyBassoonist Sting’s song, lol
What If - episode 2 (Disney+): accidentally T’Challa is abducted instead of Peter Quill. “When you’re out of luck, go for duck!” Howard The Duck. “Sticky fingers.”
What If - episode 3 (Disney+): someone is killing off the potentially as yet unformed Avengers.
Grace & Frankie - season 3 episode 5 (Netflix): the shit hits the fan after Frankie finds out that Grace has a gun.
Grace & Frankie - season 3 episode 6 (Netflix): Frankie moves out due to the gun, and Grace is pissed off after finding out that the person who gave them money for the own business was her own daughter.
Interesting fact with our viewing there - it was all streaming based, with no normal television viewing.
Plans have started to be made for recording episodes for season four of Pods Like Us, with one date and time booked, and some bits being discussed.
I’d like more up front, because come the beginning of November I won’t be able to record shows for a couple of weeks, as I can’t have the recording space arranged where we move to that quickly.
