The Blurb -

Finished later than I would have liked from the Sunday night shift, but that’s the nature of the job.

Even still, it took an age to get to sleep, and was a slightly disturbed one at that for mainly reasons of me worrying.

I don’t know why, but I was very slow all shift.

I got it all done, but finished late to get it all done, and won’t accept extra pay because I just wanted to make sure that I got the work done - professionalism you see.

The ‘casts -

(Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember)!

The Win Place Show - (0:34) episode 18: October 25 2021: Matthew looks back at the weekend’s races, specifically looking at the picks and predictions that he and his guest Barry have prior to the weekend ahead. First up the Maryland Million Ladies.  Maryland Million Classic. “Post time!”

Face The Music: An Electric Light Orchestra Podcast - (0:10) episode 036: November 24 2018: the two Erics are looking at Poor Boy (The Greenwood) from Eldorado. Song snippet. “What’s that song all about!” Non-charting single in the Netherlands. Oh, interesting and very different reason for bassist Mike D’Albuquerque leaving. Archive - Casey Kasem on the chart show again. Cool. “What does Madeline think?”

The Bright Sessions - (0:22) season 3 episode 1: Asset 43 meetings 1-6: October 19 2016: Dr Bright being held for interrogation. New music at the end by Evan Cunningham. SEE SHOW DESCRIPTION LATER IN THIS POST!

Escaping Denver - (0:19) episode 11: The Deadline: October 25 2021: the continuing story of Noah and Sara’s escape. SEE SHOW DESCRIPTION LATER IN THIS POST!

Super Awesome Science Show - (0:25) episode 31: May 17 2021: Jason is joined by special guest Pieter Cullis to speak about his mRNA vaccine for Covid-19. Membrane fusion. Lipids.

We Were On a Break - (0:36) season 1 episode 36: Chris & Geraldine. Khloe Kardashian photo. Coaches. The lengths people go to to look good. Fakery. When is it right to get married?

Off The Record: David Bowie - (0:02) trailer for a shows about  David Bowie, which will use archive interview footage to talk about his career from start to finish. It’s a show that I don’t think is still going.

Social Animals - (0:02) trailer for a chat show that discusses all things conversational and social. Basically I think it’s one of those “whatever they want to talk about” type of show. I’ll find out soon!

Face The Music: An Electric Light Orchestra Podcast - (0:12) episode 037: December 1 2018: the two Erics are looking at the song Mister Kingdom from Eldorado. “What’s that song all about?” New voice doing the quick background to the song. Across The Universe rip-off? Jeff Lynne doesn’t know what he was writing about. “What does Madeline think?”

The Bright Sessions - (0:32) season 2 episode 2: Patient #11 (Caleb) session 40: November 2 2016: Dr Bright has a session with empath Caleb. A longer episode than usual.

ars Paradoxica - (0:29) season 1 episode 1 : June 1 2015: I was introduced to this by the crossover with The Bright Sessions. A discordant piano theme. Audio diary of Sally Grissom, October 29th 1943, which is the day after August 14th of a blanked out year. USS Eldridge. Project Rainbow/Philadelphia Experiment. Pulvo, New Mexico. ODAR. Esther Roberts, predictive mechanics division under Dr Anthony Partridge. Jack Wyatt mechanical engineer. Director Donovan. SEE SHOW DESCRIPTION LATER IN THIS POST!

We Were On a Break - (0:35) season 1 episode 37: April 21 2021: Chris & Geraldine. #ThatsIt #InjuryManagement Emotional scars. Nervous laughter. Talk!

The Who & How Club - (0:06) trailer. Arys Déjan. A podcast to inspire people to talk in depth about how they define who and what they are.

Keeping Up With The Cardassians - (1:33) season episode: Nick (Mick), Rob (Captain Sisko) & Joe (Joedzia Dax). They mention how great radio announcers are to stop just before the singers start singing the songs. I’m a week behind again. Singing. Rapping. Dr Dre. Discussing they’re expecting from DC Fandome. Nick peeing on his own face? Not fulfilling. Another Nick the ex-Blockbuster Manager story. Polygraphs are like Super Mario Bros. Live polygraph on show for the future? Who is Maury Povic? Who is your Batman? Batmen list. Home Alone remake trailer. Battlestar Galactica mention. The new look of Ferengis in the Discovery trailer. 2 things in Toy Time With Joe - 1 part two of Masters Of The Universe Revelation and associated new toy line pieces. Joe has bought a load of Masters of the Universe toys for his daughter. 2 Seinfeld Jerry’s apartment Lego! After the ads they get on with the two episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine for this show; episode one is To The Death. The Bashir/Worf stand-off. Nick is mentioning a lack of continuity from episode to episode with ship damage, but then again none of the other Star Trek shows do that either. At this point they didn’t have series with story arcs other than soap operas, so they were on new ground at this point. KUWTC spin-off Jackass style? Mention of me around 1:05:00. The second episode is The Quickening.

Small Town Dicks - (0:03) season one trailer. August 2017: A true crime podcast presented by Yeardley & Zivvi with true police officers Dan and Dave, who are twin brothers.

Extra information on choice pods:

I’ve been listening to forthcoming episodes of
Pods Like Us as well to take editing notes,
so I can get still release episodes during the
moving house transition.

The Bright Sessions - psychologist Dr Joan Bright provides help and therapy for atypicals - people who have abilities that others do not, such as time-travelling Sam, mind-reading Chloe, will-pushing Damian, and empath Caleb, whilst also trying to protect them from the government organisation, the A.M.

ars Paradoxica - I’ve only listened to the one episode so far, but it is fascinating… During an experiment, Dr Sally Grissom is accidentally transported from an undisclosed time sometime around now back to 1943, where the government of the time put her in charge of a department looking into temporal mechanics and other fringe sciences.

Escaping Denver - Not having met before, Noah and Sara wake up to find that they have to rely on each other to escape an alleged underground facility, where they were put there by The Collective. They come across all sorts of experimental creatures and other possible kidnapped victims, some dead, and some barely alive.

Blackout - suspense thriller produced by and starring Rami Malek. This has been on my list for a long time, and I really need to get on with listening to it. I already have a few drama podcasts in my feed, and it makes my listening very interesting and variable. The trailer seems cool. Season two is starting soon, so I could do with getting this listened to once I’m up to date on other shows that I listen to.
