The Blurb -
Got in around twenty past eight in the morning, after leaving work at around twenty-five to/twenty to eight. It felt rude just leaving work and not chatting with Wayne for as long as usual, but I’ve got to get into the mindset now of living further away from work means having to leave on time to get home.
I was asleep a little after 9am, because I absolutely had to get up at 2pm.
Wayne had asked me to come into work a little earlier, as they needed to speak with me about my attitude on Wednesday at work. They saw footage of me on the office cameras where I went absolutely crazy.
Instead of leaving at 4pm for work, I left at 3:30, only to find that the traffic getting to Newark was so bad.
I got to Kelham Hall for around twenty past four, and yet it still took until five to five to get to the office. That stretch alone is normally around eight minutes driving.
During the conversation at the office I mentioned that it was more than just work related issues, and that everything just seemed to come out at the same time.
Life isn’t easy, and sometimes you just have to let this shit out somehow. It’s just unfortunate that it came out there and then.
I’ve always had a bad temper, and that will never change. I usually keep it in check, but I just snapped.
After the chat the shift went relatively well, without a hiccup.
I got back to the office for around five past five, and left work for about twenty-five past.
On the way home I stopped at a Tesco for a couple of reasons. Firstly we didn’t get bananas or lime juice when we went shopping the other day, because there weren’t any when we went. The other reason was to give me a rest, as I found myself dropping off on the way home.
I got home for twenty past six, which irritated me given that if I had just kept going without stopping, then I would have been home around 6.
However, if I hadn’t stopped for a breather, then I might not have made it home at all.
In bed before seven, and asleep a little later.
