The Blurb -

Saturday…

Let’s see what I can remember on the following Thursday…

Okay, so after quickly looking at the previous post I saw that I got in at around twenty to seven. I should have got in sooner, but I had to scrape ice off the car before leaving work, and then had to fuel up on the way home, which made me later getting in. I was also tired. Go figure.

However, when I got home I could not fall asleep. Again I was awake through the noise of neighbours and Louise doing bits, but mostly the neighbours.

Actually, scrap that. I now remember -

I got to sleep a bit before 7:30, but then woke up from the noises at about 10am, and come in midday I was bored trying to sleep, so got up.  Eventually I went back to bed at about 1:30pm, fell asleep about half an hour later, and woke up at 3:30pm, before leaving for work about twenty minutes later.

The journey to work was a pain.

Roadworks at Kelham meant that I was waiting there for a very long time, with it normally taking about ten minutes from there at the most to get to work. I hit Kelham at 25 past four, and got to work at five to five.

I actually misremembered and started putting bits about Sunday before realising that I was doing so, and have quickly moved that over to the post about that instead.

I know now that Saturday was fairly standard as far as I can remember. Was really busy all night, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I left the office for about ten past five and got home for about ten to six or so. I wonder how I did that so quickly? Hmm…

I’ll not dwell on that, lol.

2 Legs: A Paul McCartney Podcast - (1:28) episode 161: March 26 2022: Tom and Andy are joined by Chip Madinger and Mark Easter, authors of Eight Arms To Hold You and Lennonology. First up Tom chatted with them about the two books having been updated as digital ebooks, and then went onto the main subject of the show, which is Elton John and The Beatles. It’s fascinating how many Beatle lives that Elton has been a part of. They mentioned that Elton John did lead vocals and music on some songs in 1969 to 1970, which were part of those old compilations were they had bands, or musicians, re-record famous songs for compilations because they couldn’t use the proper version, and a couple of songs that they mention that I will look up or come and get it, and the Moody blues song question.
