The ‘casts -

(Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember)

The Comfortable Spot - (0:57) March 27 2022: Ken chats with historian Tristan Hughes. During the discussion the subject of authenticity in films comes up, such as Alexander The Great, Gladiator, and Spartacus. They also talk about games such as Age Of armoured. Tristan does the podcast The Ancients for the History Hit network, a network started by Dan Snow. Tristan is written the book The Perdiccas Years, 323-320 BC, which interestingly looks at the aftermath of the death of Alexander The Great.

On The Night Train - (0:01) August 9 2022: Trailer… During a group chat recording on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. I said that there were probably podcasts about trains, so of course I looked. This is a drama podcast to do with trains, so let’s check it out, eh? This show is from The Merry Beggars productions.

Phase Zero - (0:33) bonus episode 14: September 29 2022: Brandon is joined by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld in a special bonus episode after the news that Deadpool 3 now has a release date (October 6, 2024), and features Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. I love how excitable Rob Liefeld is! Rob’s impression of Hugh is brilliant!

Twisted Teachers - (0:34) episode 2: May 14 2021: Kim and Jen. This time they introduce themselves, which they didn’t do on the previous episode. Covid puppy purchasing. They thought about using fake names to hide their identities, instead deciding to use their real names, but not their surnames, because that would be bad work wise. How covid restrictions have and haven’t changed things. A fascinating story about a field trip. Chicken wire to cut cakes! Tug of war. I also fear saying things that I think sometimes. Don’t we all?

Reel Britannia - (1:06) episode 126: September 24 2022: Scott, Stephen and Mark look at the absolute classic Hammer Horror film Dracula from 1958, starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Trivia straight away! Something that Stephen thinks he saw in the background. Differences with the book. Great list of people who have been in more than three films that have been featured as films in this podcast. I love the card game idea where they get points for things to look out for for points like tropes.
