Sanjida Sayz - (0:08) May 9 2021: South Asian People ft Jolel “Today I speak to psychologist and lecturer, Jolel, about the struggles and much more about South Asian people. Hope you enjoy it!” Interesting that Sanjida is experimenting with structure and production here. I’m going into the minutiae here, but what Sanjida is doing essentially is looking at the idea of having music underneath the The Voice of the person that she is interviewing, which is a great idea in itself, but I would be interested in finding out if she goes that little bit further, as I think this would work better if she just has a low-level the music in the background throughout the whole conversation, including Sanjida asking the questions. This is what is called a bed in radio programming terms, which is a bed of music that the voices are on top of. It really does sound good when she’s doing this!

The song has something to do with a girl who took heroin. They continue the breakfast cereal naming of people, with Ant Shortcake asking people to suggest a breakfast cereal for percussionist Luis Jardin. The diary reading is very much about the tour bus breaking down, which adds problems as H was due to meet his wife, and the band lifestyle is already putting a strain on their marriage. They discuss H’s current relationship with his former band mate from How We Live. There is no crooncast at the end, but instead something respectful for the Queen.
