1 Both of us went to Aunty Ann’s and saw my mum there at the same time. 


2 Food shopping - Lidl and Aldi


3 Columbo - How To Dial A Murder - Columbo is an absolute classic television series to my mind. This episode is a particularly clever episode, and is another masterclass in how to create great entertainment. It features a younger 19 year old Kim Cattrall. 



Wednesday November 16th,  2022 - 


1 Pods Like Us meets My Guest List Pod - thank you to Darren, we finally recorded an appearance for him after I appeared on his show talking about Pods Like Us.


2 Stanley Tucci Searching For Italy s2 ep3 Umbria and ep4 London - season two carries on this wonderful series, keeping the great quality, alongside Stanley’s obvious excitement and enjoyment of good food and good people. 


3 Bill & Ted Face The Music - me and Louise have wanted to watch this film for a long while, as we both love the previous two films. This didn’t live up to those films for sure, although there were bits. If truth be told, I found the bits with Bill and Ted’s daughters in the past more interesting. 


4 The Santa Clauses episodes 1 & 2 - a new series on Disney Plus that follows on so many years after the three films, starring Tim Allen. 




Thursday November 10th, 2022 - 


1 Started edit on Pods Like Us meets My Guest List Pod - would can I say? Editing. 


2 Stanley Tucci Searching For Italy s2 e5 Calabria - another great episode of this superb series. 


Back to work on Thursday night.

49 to 50

Hey y’all... I’m trying to sound all “street” there, but it’s not working is it?!?!?!  So, the transition from 49 to 50 then, what’s it like? Thinking back to what I remember of going from 39 to 40, I was thinking then about the old adage of “life begins at 40”! What a crock of shit that was, and so is going from 49 to 50...  Someone asked me about it, saying “what’s it like to turn 50?” My answer was something along the lines of “like it’s a day after being 49!” I’ve still got thin hair on my head, with lots of grey therein. I still make the money at the same job, which I’ll probably still unfortunately be doing in a year when I’ll turn 51!  The changes that have happened recently have very little to do with that transition.  Or do they?
