The ‘casts -

(Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember)

The Strange Brew - (1:16) November 29 2022: Jason is joined by the wonderful Ken Womack to discuss recordings produced by George Martin before his involvement with the Beatles, and that scene. It’s interesting, because I was actually thinking of doing a deep dive into George’s other production work is a podcast, but I haven’t got the time to do my own podcast these days, never mind another one. A lovely piece by Debussy to start with - Prelude. Skiffling strings by Ron Goodwin. Mock Mozart by Peter Ustinov. Robin hood by Dick James. shadows on the grass by Peter Sellers and Irene Handl. Don’t You Rock Me Daddy-O by The Vipers Skiffle Group. Don’t Let Go by Jim Dale. Goodness gracious me by Peter Sellers and Sophia Loren. You’re Driving Me Crazy by The Temperance Seven. George songwriting under the pseudonym of Graham Fisher. Matt Monro song My Kind Of Girl (written by George under that name). Hole In The Ground by Bernard Cribbins.

Beauty Unlocked - (0:07) December 20 2022: Frightful Christmas 6 The Eyeball “Welcome, my ghoulish bunnies! I know I'm late in uploading again. As it's the holiday season, I've been running around with family and recently recovered from a cold. Fear not! I'm sure these true chilling stories will leave you a little bit unsettled and will make up for the fact that I was late in uploading.  Listener Discretion is advised.” The story entitled Ravi!”

The Tom Petty Project - (0:17) October 12 2022: this time Kev is looking at the song We Stand A Chance from the album Long After Dark. Ooh, I didn’t know that the band had covered a Bond song in concert. I need to dig that out.

The Book Realm - (0:17) December 12 2022: I’m enjoying the new sparky show production with the lovely musical bed. This episode sees DL telling us about her November reading. She makes five podcasts! I have trouble keeping two pods going! Our Wives Under The Sea. When DL a mentions about not finding time to read, I think about how much that I miss reading because of being out working for 75 hours per week, and the time I spend podcasting. Red Rock Baby. Such Sharp Teeth. DL mentions the film Teen Wolf starring Michael J Fox. Not mentioned is that he filmed that, Back To The Future, and the tv series Family Ties all at the same time going from one set to another on the same days, and only get three to four hours of sleep per day for a few months.

Sanjida Sayz - December 19 2021: Relationships - but the sad part “Today I'll be giving you some advice that I wish someone could have told me, but as I always say, everything happens for a reason.” This is a great podcast for older teenagers and young adults. But Sanjida’s voice is so quiet, and the notification sounds on her phone are so loud.

Comicbook Nation - (1:21) December 30 2022: Kofi, Matt and Janell give us the season four finale, with Kofi being the only one in the studio, and he other two at home. This episide sees the guys talking about whatever they want as opposed to what they have to. First up is something called the golden issue award. There will not be an announcement in January of what is coming from the DC films. Grant Morrison based Batman creations going to film. James Gunn’s sharkudery board. Best comic book tv show. Best wrestling match. Their geek outs for 2022 and what they’re looking forward to in 2023. I was worried for the producer when Kofi suggested doing things out of sequence from the production running order. Producer Richard joined in the conversation at 24:40. When they were talking about anime, and Matt said that he was interested in getting into more from that world of entertainment, I suddenly had a thought of Matt being on the show Animeshoshin, and reacting to seeing a specific anime for the first time. how cool that Matt got a shout out for this show from the Dino fury power rangers? Matt knows everybody! The Witcher Blood Origin. Comics - Action Comics, X-Terminators, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles number 2.
