The episode they are watching is a season three Christmas episode called a Dickens of a Christmas. I’m pausing this now before they carry on, and wondering if they will mention that Anton Rodgers was in the 1970 film version of the dickens story A Christmas Carol that starred Albert Finney. Apparently a lot of sitcoms at this time had alcohol in a lot of the scenes, which brought about a set of rules regarding alcohol in TV shows. dr velvet is full of Christmas spirit, and is already on the second bottle of it, LOL.
