The Pod Files - Friday 17 March 2023

Friday is always a difficult one. This was made more so by things in my personal life being very prominent in my thoughts after recent events.

Friday is a short on sleep day, so I was tired, and there was a phone call when I woke up that was a sort of 50/50 kind of call - good and bad.

I’m surprised that more pods weren’t listened to, but then I did have to listen back to my next episode of Pods Like Us, which I had recorded on Wednesday where myself and guest cohost Darren from My Guest List Pod spoke with Jared Carter, the creator of the fabulous audio drama Desert Skies.

SKRAPS is the word sparks spelt backwards and also a play on the idea that ideas are written on back of a napkin or scraps of paper. We explore stories of people in science, while elaborating on the scientific details so that experts and non-experts can relate to science better in today's whimsical world that acts to spread mis-information.”
