Immediately rubbish work wise. 

Buses were running late from where I live into town, which surprisingly got me into town earlier due to catching a late bus that should have been earlier. 

I arrived at the train station fifteen minutes before the train was due, only to then find out that the first of my trains I needed to catch for work was cancelled, meaning that I would miss the connecting train. 

Oh well, these things happen.  It explains why people prefer to use their own transport to get around, because of these problems.
