What went on - 

Watched some YouTube videos of Hot Chocolate that included No Doubt About It, Emma, So You Win Again, I Gave You My Heart (Didn’t I), Girl Crazy, It Started With A Kiss, and more. 

Watched some Terry Hall sung songs on YouTube - songs by Vegas (Walk Into The Wind), The Colourfield (Thinking Of You), Fun Boy Three, and The Specials, and some solo songs. 

Watched some Marillion music videos on YouTube that included a couple of versions of No One Can, Lavender, Beautiful, and more.

We went to the cemetery at Sutton-In-Ashfield to pay respects to our friend Andy, the day before his birthday, where we left a card for him. We then went into the town centre there for a coffee in the indoor market, where I used to go to a lot back when I was somewhere around eighteen and nineteen years old. 

I reminisced again to Louise about how I used to walk from Mansfield to Outram Street in Sutton-In-Ashfield every fortnight to use the laundrette there, while I spent maybe two hours at New Cross Records chatting with the owner, and finding some great second hand records. They were great memories. 

I also mentioned that I went to Ashfield Community Training on Outram Street. What is it about getting older that you are almost reminding yourself of these things from the past? 

We watched the film Carry On Abroad, starring Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Barbara Windsor, Joan Sims, Kenneth Connor, Bernard Bresslaw, Sally Hawkins, Peter Butterworth, June Whitfield, and others. I find it interesting that the actor Jack Douglas is in the beginning couple of minutes and the final scene, but otherwise nowhere else in the film. Was it made at a time close to the film Carry On Camping, which he features in more often, as the best friend of a pub landlord, portrayed by Sid James, just he portrays a pub landlord in this film. Both films are about being away on holiday as well. In both films Sid James’s character is married to a character portrayed by Joan Sims as well. It took about three and a half hours to watch because of the shit signal we get with 3 Mobile Broadband.

We watched season 6 episode 1 of Grey’s Anatomy.
