Tuesday-Wednesday 8-9 April 2025 -

We did watch some stuff that I don’t remember, including some Louise telly stuff. 

We also watched The Tiny Chef season 2 episodes 9 (Chips n Dip/Bee’s Knees Tea) and 10 (Dino Cake/Dumplings), New Amsterdam season 5 episode 8 (All The World’s A Stage), and Not Going Out series 11 episode 5 (War). 

Recorded the last portion for April 1965, and the U.K. side for May 1965 of Toppermost of the Poppermost with Ed and Kit. 

I can’t remember what else happened over those two days. We aren’t going out lately, because of health reasons that need to get sorted out. I won’t say more than that. Also, the fact that I don’t own a car doesn’t help either. 


Tuesday-Wednesday 15-16 April 2025 -

We watched the latest episode of Gogglebox, Daredevil Born Again season 1 episodes 6 (Excessive Force), 7 (Art For Art’s Sake), 8 (Isle of Joy), and 9 (Straight To Hell), and Breaking Dad season 6 episodes 1 and 2. 

Recorded the whole of the US portion for May 1965 for Toppermost of the Poppermost with Ed and Kit.

Recorded a small portion towards a When They Was Fab episode with Ed. 

Finished the edit finally on Toppermost of the Poppermost for March 1965 Side C. 


Tuesday-Wednesday 22-23 April 2025 -

I actually did some gardening for the first time in two years. Listened to the deluxe edition of the album Holidays In Eden by Marillion. It’s an important album in mine and Louise’s history, as I already loved the band, and Louise had somehow got hold of a promo tape with four songs from the album on there. 

The song No One Can became a song that meant a lot to us, as I told Ant from the podcast The Corona Diaries, which he does with Marillion singer Steve Hogarth. 

The fact is that this set arrived the other day in the postcard and I’ve wanted it for the three years that this deluxe set has been available for, because of the album’s importance to us both, but also their series of deluxe sets are absolutely amazing! 


Now all I think about it, I am missing is the one they did for the album This Strange Engine. 

In May I’m looking forward to the release of the deluxe set for the Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, which I have preordered, of course! 

We watched Breaking Dad season 6 episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6. Then we watched season 5 episodes 1-4.

Recorded an episode of When They Was Fab with Ed. 

We watched a Blankety Blank episode
