PodCube - 18 June 2025: I will post up their show notes as one or two pictures in this blog. I like that they’re mixing things up here by using actual AI to do a satire on the subject of AI. Add to that the real voices doing satirical advertisements, and it’s just genius level creativity in my opinion. As much as some people see AI as a sort of cheat, here they have seemingly thought about it, wherein the usual media way is to have programmed (automated) advertising, coupled with human hosted shows. Here that is flipped with real voices doing the advertisements and AI voicing the show. It’s also the AI voiced show looking from the outside at the human psyche, and the creativity that we have given to technology. I think it’s incredibly smart, and original.

The researchers found that the hum derives from the difference in air pressure between the top and bottom of the wings, which alternates forty times a second as the hummingbird flaps. The rapidly shifting air pressure produces a harmonic set of sounds, from low to high, creating that iconic, musical hum. / More info and transcript at BirdNote.org
