Time Off - Two Lots Basic Notes

 

I forgot to take note of what happened during these days off, which is a shame because I think there were a few things I’m going to miss.

I don’t know what we watched, but know that we listened to a lot of songs for the Toppermost recording later that day. 

On Zencastr Ed, Kit and myself recorded some Toppermost - the UK charts for August 1965, and the first week of the US charts for that time.

I recorded a fantastic chat with Andreea Coscai, who as well as working for Tink Media, also helps Earbuds, and produces her own newsletter called Eurowaves. Our talk was about the latter for the most part, which is a great thing. In this newsletter Andreea looks at podcasts from all over Europe, and saw it leading to us discussing the subject of the both of us agreeing that shows in all languages with different cultures are importsnt, especially for those working and living in countries that aren’t their places of origin, with these shows allowing them to stay in touch with what’s happening. 

We watched the films My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, and The Outsiders. 

Tuesday 29 July 2025 

Got home from work at about ten past nine. I fell asleep a little after ten, woke at about twenty to eleven, and dropped off again after a few minutes, finally waking up at half past twelve. 

More listening of songs for Toppermost of the Poppermost. 

we watched episode one of The Assassin on Amazon Prime, starring Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore. 

The rest of our Toppermost discussion about the August 1965 US charts was recorded.
