The ‘casts -

(Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember

(Changed tactic now where starred dialogue denotes quoting from the show’s own notes

Havoc Town - season 1 episode 10: 14 October 2025: *Grando - A dead man is born, and takes the first steps in a long, bloody journey. [Fascinating to see the backstory told from another perspective. Really clever. I would love to find out if that was part of the original concept, because it works so well with the diary reading thing going on.]

Als Talk About Podcasting - 24 September 2025: *Kelce Brothers New Heights podcast to air on Amazon (including Taylor Swift episode) - The bots discuss the addition of New Heights to Prime Video, including the Taylor Swift episode. / Als Talk About Podcasting is the #1 Podcast About Podcasting hosted by Al hosts. It's also a great way to keep track of what's happening in the industry. [it is a tv show then surely! I was only saying to Mark Ronnick the other day that my fear with the interest in Amazon and all of these companies looking for programming from podcasting, as a visual format, is that they will just then change the landscape with podcasting to make it another form of television or radio, with regulations and guidelines thrown in there that people have to follow. That would of course lose what is special and different about podcasting, because it just becomes, as I said, television and radio all over again, which podcasting was initially not!]

Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day - 14 October 2025: utopia

Ghost: Scary Stories for Halloween - 14 October 2025: *The October Records Episode 14: The Warning - The damaged record reveals Margaret's grandmother Elizabeth visited Silas in 1974— still young at twenty-three despite being born in 1901, with water streaming continuously from her eyes instead of tears. Elizabeth's hidden photos show thirteen pregnancies over fifty years with only Margaret's mother surviving, while the twelve "dead" babies appear as ghostly water-children aging in the backgrounds. Margaret discovers the horrifying truth: Blackwood women aren't just witnesses but ARE the Pattern itself, existing simultaneously across all Octobers, and Elizabeth made a deal to provide twelve children for the deep and one for the surface. / The twelve never-born siblings materialize in the library as water-children with bent limbs and gills, showing Margaret a photograph from October 31st, 2025-two weeks in the future-of herself drowning in the town fountain while thousands of souls either follow her up to salvation or down to damnation. The fourteenth revelation:

Margaret must truly die and become water to make the choice Elizabeth couldn't-save thirty souls or reverse the Pattern entirely and save everyone who's ever drowned.

Star Trek: Khan - Episode 6: 13 October 2025: *The Good of All - Khan struggles to understand the Elboreans and their leader, Delmonda, while his own people's distrust of the newcomers increases in the face of impending catastrophe. [this series is still interesting. I know that it is a more produced corporate style show, but it’s still great. Wonderfully produced and written, with great voice acting. It is really good how they have created a story based on that timeframe between the original series and Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.]
