Time Flux 3

 

Thursday 26 March 2026

We watched Yellowstone season 3 episodes 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Bus to work. Left home at five o’clock, to catch a bus from the town centre at 5:30pm. I was at the bus station for twenty past, but the bus left fifteen minutes late, not getting into Newark until 7:05pm, obviously making me late for work. 

That night I was driven around the sites to do my duties, and on the (Friday) morning when the shift ended I was lifted home by my friend Matt, getting home for ten past eight in the morning. 


Friday 27 March 2026

I worked again on Friday night in much the same manner, but with a lift from home to work. I got a lift home on Saturday morning from Chris after my shift had ended, with me getting home for 6:30am. 

Saturday 28 March

Awake at 10am because of the bloody noisy swines next door. 

We watched Yellowstone season 4 episodes 1, 2, 3, and 4. 

When They Was Fab podcast recording. 

Sunday 29 March

Awake at 8:30am, with the clocks showing 7:30, since the clocks had gone forward overnight. Louise doesn’t change the clocks until they have already changed, whereas I used to do it before going to sleep, at least in the days over 26 years ago when I wasn’t working weekend night shifts. 

We watched Gogglebox. 

We watched Yellowstone season 4 episodes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10

A Passage of Time

  Sunday August 10th 2025 -  I got in from the Saturday night shift at twenty past five, and drifted to sleep a little after six in the morning.  A minute or so after ten in the morning, I woke up for the toilet and looked at my phone. I noticed that I had missed phone calls and messages from my aunties Carol and Ann, as well as a fairly recent message from my younger brother James. They were all asking me to contact them.  I had a feeling that I knew what it was, but I didn’t want to believe it. I messaged my younger brother James, who then rang to tell me that Mum had passed away sometime around 7:30 in the morning.  I messaged someone at work about it, who let a Director know.
