Monday 20th April

Up at half past eight.

Radio listening.

Podcast listening.

YouTube.

I went out to the shop for a pint of milk.

We watched an episode of 9-1-1 on Disney Plus.

We watched the film Outcome on Apple TV.

We watched Marshals season 1 episodes 5-7.

Tuesday 21st April

I woke up a few minutes before 8am, and listened to a little bit of the superb audio drama Harry’s Home. Written by Hannah Puddlefoot, and starring Phil Davis and Nicola Bryant, it tells of Harry being brought back to the family home by his daughter after an incident while he was in Alzheimer’s care. I’m trying to get it listened to before I organise a chat with the writer Hannah, and the producer Helen Quigley.

Louise woke up at about twenty-five past eight, which is early for my girl.

I went into town.

I needed to sort out the upgrade for my phone, but couldn’t because I don’t own a passport, and I no longer have my driving licence until the end of August, when my ban ends.

I also received a very kind (sarcasm) email from work to tell me that I’m still legally employed with them, and am on the list in case any work comes up, but after speaking with their insurers, I won’t be able to work for them as a driver when I get my licence back, because the insurance would be too much.

I sent an email back to say that I will be composing a resignation letter soon, because it’s pointless working for them, even though I selfishly thought that I could stay employed when they will undoubtedly go out of business by not being able to keep their staffing levels for drivers.

We watched an episode of 9-1-1.

We watched episode 8 of Marshals season 1. There will no doubt be more than the one season of the show.

Recorded Toppermost of the Poppermost.

Wednesday 22nd April

Up at 8:30 after a bad night’s sleep. Louise is poorly.

Shopping delivered.

Podcast listening.

Messing about trying to get the smart devices to work with the new broadband.

Podcast editing.

We watched Michael Jackson: An American Tragedy Part 2.

I watched a couple of episodes of Better Call Saul.

Thursday 23rd April

Another terrible night of sleep. Louise was poorly all night.

Woke up a little before eight in the morning.

Editing.

We listened to some radio.

We watched some of Married At First Sight Australia.

We watched Michael Jackson: An American Tragedy episodes 2 and 3. I get that being an in depth BBC documentary that they have to look at everything, but they went straight from the Bad album in 1987 to the first assault allegation in 1993, missing the release of the Dangerous album in 1991. They also skipped the whole Brits Awards incident with Jarvis Cocker.

I finished the night by watching a couple of episodes of Better Call Saul.
