Busy night at work. I got a fair bit of listening in though, but not as much as I would have liked.  I always wish that I could listen to more, but just keep running out of time.  The ‘casts - (Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember) Holidays After Dark - (0:23)  4 October 2022: “Halloween Part Three Trick or Terror - In this episode, Kristin shares listener Farand Wasiak's personal ghost encounters and dissects a couple of Halloween homicides.“  Daily Dad Jokes - (0:06) March 19 2023  Vintage Rock Pod  - (0:05) March 18 2023: Paul looks at events and celebrity birthdays from this day in history. Saturday night shift. I was still emotional from the events during my time off.  I don’t really remember much about the night, but my colleague Matt kept checking on me on the phone to make sure I was doing okay.  Other than that I don’t really remember much happening, although I was as busy as BEEP, which is usual for a Saturday.  The ‘casts - (Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember) Spyhards - (0:56) SpyMaster Interview 47: March 17 2023:    Wow, the music is different. I must admit that this episode, that came out yesterday, is probably about a year and a half newer than the most recent episode that I’ve listened to. This episode Scott and cam are speaking with the actor Julian Glover, who was in the films for your eyes only and the full protocol, both of which are spy related films. I also know him from Indiana Jones and the last Crusade, and the Star Wars films. I believe he is also the husband of Isla Blair?    I talk about Julians ...

Friday is always a difficult one. This was made more so by things in my personal life being very prominent in my thoughts after recent events. Friday is a short on sleep day, so I was tired, and there was a phone call when I woke up that was a sort of 50/50 kind of call - good and bad. I’m surprised that more pods weren’t listened to, but then I did have to listen back to my next episode of Pods Like Us, which I had recorded on Wednesday where myself and guest cohost Darren from My Guest List Pod spoke with Jared Carter, the creator of the fabulous audio drama Desert Skies. The ‘casts - (Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember) Omega Star 7 - (0:26)  Season 1, Episode 12: August 24 2021: “ Just Another Desert Planet  -  The Crew of the Outlander travels to Slip's Homeworld, Exodus, to deal with an old friend...” Bill Reads Bad Reviews - (0:33) episode 76: March 17 2023: finally, Bill read Bad reviews has had a good review, this time from John of the se...

It was a tough night, more for emotional reasons than anything else.  I know that I never really want to be at work, but this time there was a reason, but I still had to push on through as best that I could.  Again I wanted to listen to more, but for some reason I didn’t. The phone switched off at a couple of points because I was using too much battery power I guess with listening and writing notes.  The ‘casts - (Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember) The Icarus Complex - (0:33) season 5 episode 8: March 14 2023: “chapter 58 Goodbye Yellow Brick Bristol (part two) - Having decided to finally leave Bristol, Liam takes a trip down memory lane and tries to spend his final few weeks making amends as best he can.”  Daily dad Jokes - (0:06) March 13 2023 Composer’s Datebook - (0:02) March 2023:  Vintage Rock Pod - (0:06) March 14 2023: Paul looks at events and celebrity birthdays from this day in history. Today’s main topic is the single Hair of...

I’m sorry but this is the old fashioned podcast listening style blogpost, because I haven’t got the time to look back on what happened at work around the listening of these podcasts. As I write this it is three days later on the Thursday, and as a last minute thing arranged by social services yesterday, I’m moving my mum to a home later today from the assessment centre who said that she was too much of a handful, which I have issues with, because they are a dementia care facility, but can’t cope with the effects of dementia because of staffing problems I would assume.  Just cut the spending on weapons and war, and expand the funding for the things that really are important! Also, make politicians buy their own f***ing shit, because they’re paid enough for crying out loud.  The ‘casts - (Notes spoken to Siri, and edited later if I remember) The Gerry Anderson Podcast -   (1:29) pod 248: March 13 2023:  presented by Jamie “leadership” Anderson, Richard “nav...
