The Pod Files - Saturday 15 June 2024

A short list of this shift because of a few incidents that included responding to a vehicle that crashed into a business at high speed, and a few other alarm call outs.

That’s as much as I’m saying, as obviously I can’t give details. Let’s just say that time for listening was at a minimum.

The Gadget Show Podcast

The Gadget Show Podcast - 18 March 2024: *In this pilot episode of The Gadget Show Podcast, Jason & Suzi go hands and eyes on with Apple's Vision Pro, chat to the world's only toyologist about what's exciting in the world of Toys, and test Dyson's Zone Air Purifying headphones!

A North One Production

Produced by Ewan Keil & Tom Clint [Presented by Jason Bradbury and Suzi Perry. “Anti fart pants.” Trying to create the Matrix style camera work with the athleticism of Suzi in episode one in 2004 to showcase cameras. This podcast is actually made at the same studio as they made the show in Birmingham. Jason surprises Suzi by putting an Apple Vision Pro headset, which gives apps in your vision in the room. Picking an app just by looking at it and clicking fingers together. Swiping across by moving your hands in mid-air. Mention of Magic Quest 3. Clip of Mark Zuckerberg talking about the latter. After a break, they are joined by the guest Pete Jenkinson, who is a toyologist. They get their clackers out, LOL. Playmobil have released a Magnum PI set, that includes the Ferrari 308GTB, along with both Thomas Magnum and John Higgins figures from the 1980s, and Higgins has his parrot as well. Jason is right in that back in the day people would put ornaments up in their houses, but now that’s been replaced by pop culture, figurines and the like. My answer to that is that technically we haven’t grown up, so we still have our toys out on shelves, like we used to in our childhood bedrooms. A remote control transformer that transforms, which is exactly what you wanted to do. By the way, the transformers franchise is 40 years old this year! 1984! Wi-Fi based holographic Tamagotchi! Mattel AI based Pictionary. After this, Susie asks for Jason’s opinion on something that she surprises him with that is related to the company Dyson - a set of headphones that has a mask type of thing attached to it to give you cleaned air, and cuts down on the noise of the built in fan when listening to music.]
