  Sunday June the 20th, 2021 - The blurb - After not getting to sleep until after 10:30am, I woke at 2:30pm, and surprisingly lasted the night shift and all the miles it ensued without any problems.  I got an extra ad to place into the latest Pods Like Us episode, and posted the episode with James Court up from Court Case.  Two alarm calls at work.   Saturday June the 19th, 2021 - The blurb - Once again I forget what time I got to sleep, probably later than I would have liked. My memory is worse lately, possibly from the build up of stress causing me to not be able to sleep well, and then when I am it’s so late that it’s noisy outside, so I’ve now gone to wearing earplugs to sleep all seven days of the week now, and then I have an earpiece in for work as well - for only around one hour per day I have nothing in my ears! According to Louise, she read somewhere that having things in your ears so much can cause memory problems.    I’ve no idea why! I went to fetch more laundry, because more clothes are being discovered in bags, and they all need washing to make sure they’re in a fit state to either keep or get rid. I’ve just thought that it was about half past seven when I eventually got to sleep on Saturday morning, after getting in from work at about six o’clock. I woke up at one o’clock in the afternoon.   Friday June the 18th, 2021 - The blurb - Because of dropping off so late, I didn’t wake up until about one o’clock or possibly later, even the next morning I can’t remember! There were things I was supposed to do, but I really just felt like shit.  The internet was still shitty from the night before, and input the Rush Blu-ray back on to watch some more.  I did go to get some bits from Morrison’s before going to work, where I turned up at 4:30pm.  Steady night on the locals, got some podcast listening in, but couldn’t take my mind off what’s going on in life - so much stress from so many things. Why won’t life give me a f***ing break?  Realised during the day that I need to change things around, and work on a different episode to release on Sunday 27th of June to coincide with the fact that that particular episode is about a podcast that starts on July 1st!   Thursday June the 17th, 2021 - The blurb - Woke up at around ten to ten in the morning, ten minutes before the alarm was due to go off, and I switched the alarm off. Yes I did… Then I went back to sleep, and thought “f*** it!” After that stupidity from the landlord about not being able to paint with anything at all in the room, I just thought “I’m gonna get some f***ing sleep!” Dickhead! I did a couple of bits of moving and trying to sort the flat out, and I started watching the Rush Blu-ray Clockwork Angels Live. I put some more “tag ads” as I call them into those Sunday’s show, which will be the episode I recorded with James Court of Court Case. Louise joined in a little section for that, and I think what we talk about there is important. So far there are six tags in the episode, with possibly an extra one going in there.    They’re very short ten to fifteen second shout-outs.   Wednesday June the 16th, 2021 The blurb - After getting to bed early-ish on Tuesday night (around one o’clock in the morning), it took an age to fall asleep. I woke up and got up at 6:50am, ten minutes before the alarm was due to wake me up. I was intending to get the bits to the garage, but instead got carried away on the socials and with the news on in the background. One good thing is that I finished editing the next episode of Pods Like Us, which is the episode with James Court from Court Case, a great show where James & his girlfriend Sweet T discuss subjects that they get from listeners, from Reddit, and whatever else comes to mind, occasionally with guests. We went out to get cards and do a few bits, and bumped into the landlord, who said that he needed the rooms to be clear of everything including furniture to be able to do the decorating.   Monday June the 14th, 2021 The blurb - A bit of a quiet day in a way. I finished editing the third episode of Pods Like Us, with it being the one where I chatted with Pat Gaughan from Podcastagram. There were some other bits that I did as well, which included looking at the footage of the show with Gregg and the guys from the Rush podcast Something For Nothing on Saturday. In the evening I went to move the car, which was a problem, because all of the short journeys to and from work, or to and from the storage unit, weren’t enough to charge the battery. Luckily I got the car started on the third attempt, and had to gain entry through the passenger door because the electric doors weren’t working due to the low battery. I have the car a good drive, then parked up, and went to the supermarket for some bits. While out I listened to No Fear Finance & Grumble Goat. At night we watched the film Avengers Endgame.   Sunday June the 13th, 2021 The blurb - Happy birthday to my oldest brother, Richard. I started editing the next episode for Pods Like Us, but didn’t get to finish it.    Even when I came home for my break I still didn’t get it finished. I even picked up my laptop to take with me for a break later in the shift, and an alarm call stopped me in my tracks. It’ll just have to be a day late. Crap! That alarm towards the end of the shift was the only call all night. It made me finish at around 6:20am as opposed to the 5:30am that I should have finished. That’s what alarm calls do!
