  Thursday March 25th 2021 So, after dropping off at around 2 in the morning, I woke up at twenty to six for the toilet, and then had trouble staying awake. Around an hour later I got up.    I did a bit more editing on the forthcoming Sunday episode of Pods Like Us, which will be the episode with the great Blaine Desantis. So far I’ve thought that everyone I’ve spoken with is great, so I’ll no doubt carry on using that superlative! I made drinks for both myself and Louise at about ten past eight, after saying when I woke up that I’d wake her with a drink at eight o’clock. Louise was walking through as I stirred the drinks (stirred not shaken). We were told by the Landlord’s agents that a plumber was coming to finish the bits that they had started to sort out. I think at about 1pm I was too tired to carry on, so I went back to bed, and I think I got up at half past three or so. I finished editing the episode for Sunday, and got it set up on Podbean for release that day....

My little recording space is taking shape!   Tuesday March 23rd 2021 I left the office at about 7:50am after the relatively boring Monday night shift, mainly due to the rubbish back up vehicle. After the shift it was like I’d slid down a rock face, because my back was in such pain. I dropped the car off at the garage on the way home, and left it there for them to sort out the CV joint. More expense to fork out then! “It is what it is!” I got home for about half past eight, in bed for half nine, and up for 2, as opposed to the 11 o’clock I wanted to be up for. I got a fair bit of tidying of my side done in the bedroom, which took a long while.   Monday March the 22nd 2021 Monday...  So after dropping off a bit after ten o’clock, I think that I got up at about 3:30pm. I posted up the first draft edit of the Pods Like Us Meets Spyhards episode, hoping that it would be okay. It was the first think that I listened to in the night shift, and I thought it was okay, although there were bits where I thought that normally I’d have tightened it up better!  The usual van was out of commission for the night shift, so that meant having to listen to podcasts over my Bluetooth earpiece, and with being a different van, the charger wasn’t quick enough to keep to with the power being used by the podcast player! I listened to what I could, but at a certain point had to listen to over an hour of music on the radio, which was irritating! I decided that I would try to see what I can get listened to when I’m back on Thursday night. On the way home I left my car at the garage to get the CV joint sorted out.   Sunday March the 21st 2021 - As I said, I got to sleep very easily for me, and woke up with the alarm clock at about half past two. My head wasn’t feeling great, and I was still lethargic. I did a bit more work on the newly released Pods Like Us episode with Scott & Cam from Spyhards, and saved this first edit. Funnily enough as I’m writing this on Monday, I woke up thinking “sod it, post it up and hope that it’s okay as it is!”    I hadn’t got the time to listen to an hour and thirty three minutes of the show to see if it flows well. I feel bad admitting that, but I also feel bad that it’s a day late. The next episode to be released should be the one with Ryan & Avery from the King Crimson podcast Frame By Frame. That will be Wednesday.    Following this will be the episode with Blaine Desantis of the shows “Dinner And A ...”    and “Snapshots”. After that will be my chat with Ethan from Cineflek.   Saturday March 20th 2021 I got in from work at about half past five, and got into bed at 6am. Louise’s alarm went off at 7:30am. She got up a little before eight. At about twenty past eight she came in to look for clothes. I got up at nine.  I had a coffee and some cereal. Then I did my teeth, got dressed, and we made our way to the doctors for our first AstraZeneca injection (the second is June 5th).  Our times were down as 9:56 and 9:57am. We arrived there at 9:43am, and were out before 9:55! It was like a military operation with people there telling you where to go, and then in under a minute the details were given to you, questions were answered, and the jab was done. In and out like a human conveyor belt. We slowly made our way back home, where I went back to bed, and got up at 2:30pm.   Friday March 19th 2021 I got in at about twenty past eight, in bed a little before nine, and fell asleep a bit after. I rarely drop off quickly, and in fact can’t remember ever dropping off without trouble. I got up at about three o’clock, and left for work at about twenty past four. I started work earlier because of an appointment for my first AstraZeneca Covid-19 injection on Saturday morning. Luckily it was a fairly steady night, although once again Andy on mobile 2 was chatty on the phone.
